Sturgeon Learning Centres has an elected school council consisting of parents, staff representatives, the school principal, and local trustee(s). The council is a forum where all interested parties may interact and provide input to Alternative programming in Sturgeon School Division.
Our school council follows the guidelines specified by Alberta Education and Sturgeon Public Schools. It allows various stakeholder groups more opportunities to become involved in the decision-making process at SPVA.
